The M.A. program «Governance and Global Affairs» provides Russian and international students with the necessary skills for employment in international organizations. The curriculum is designed to offer a vast choice of courses for students who aim to become directly involved in politics, governments, or political organizations. Courses are designed to help graduates embrace their role as global citizens who are willing and able to be part of an international, multicultural environment. The program provides students with profound knowledge of contemporary politics, international diplomacy, governmental and legal systems, economics and international relations, and security, with focus on Russia.

The Governance and Global Affairs Program was founded in 2013. The yearly student intake is 20 students. Average intake GPA is 3.6 (out of 4) or 4.7 (out of 5).

Partnerships with other universities give the students of the Program extra opportunities to successfully graduate not only with an MGIMO degree in IR but also with a degree from our Partners.
